XROXX Rocks, Volume 1

Independent Release
Release Date: August 14, 2004
Well, XROXX Rocks!! Vol. 1 is definitely filled with a bunch of amazing bands, and I suggest that anyone that likes ska,
punk, or emo bands (or all of the above) should check this out. You'll most likely find a band you'll like on here.
When you first here "Break-Up" by Two Minute Warning you notice that it sounds a lot like Blink 182. So you definitely know that they are a punk band that most likely has Blink on the top of their list of favs. But other than that they do have a really good
sound and their song is pretty catchy.
I am so sorry to say this, but (no offense) when I heard the beginning of "Arm Rests Again" by The Bloody Turncoats, I was pretty close to laughing my ass off. Really close to doing that. How he sings is just so funny. But the song eventually got better and less funny.
Now the second I heard "Call Me" by Scenario, I immediately fell in love the song. The vocals are absolutely amazing. His vocals alone will make you love this band. I cannot say anything, but good things about this band. I can definitely see this band going far.
When you hear Urizen's "My Friend Says You're Ugly," you immediately know it's a ska band. They aren't that bad. I like how they are able to make it sound like your CD is skipping.
Well, "Something Wrong" by The Delegates is quite an interesting song. It sounds a bit like depressing ska music. In a way, it kinda bothers me, but there are definitely parts I like. There's parts in this band's music that is really crazy.
So, if you're interested in punk, ska, or emo music, you should definitely check this CD out. There are bands in here that you will immediately fall in love with.
