Senses Fail
Let It Enfold You
Senses Fail with Let It Enfold You
Vagrant Records
Release Date: September 7, 2004

Ever since I heard about Senses Fail's new record, Let It Enfold You, coming out, I've been really excited about getting it. And once it started playing in my CD player, I was definitely not disappointed. Let It Enfold You is just as good as their EP, From the Depths Of Dreams.

Senses Fail LiveThe first song I ever heard off the record was "Buried A Lie." It was definitely less hard than most of the other songs I have heard from Senses Fail, but I still liked it. The song is basicly a story about a guy, who's investigating a suppose suicide, which turns out to be murder, just as he suspected.

"Bite To Break Skin" is another one of the more popular songs off the record. It definitely something you'd expect from Senses Fail. My favorite part is when they start screaming "Bite to break skin/Don't give the secrets."

One of my favorite songs is "Lady In A Blue Dress." In the beginning it's a bit calmed Senses Fail Livedown then goes hard. Then it goes into this great beat and they start singing "Just like a lady in a blue dress/You got cigarettes on your breath." The song is a bit catchy.

"The Irony Of Dying On Your Birthday" is another song off the the record. One thing I notice in the song that he kinda screeches when he sings "We are" in the beginning of the song. One of my favorite parts in the song is when he is screaming "I wanna die like Jim Morrison/A fucking rock star."

"Martini Kiss" is another one of Senses Fail's better songs off the record. It'll have you screaming "Burn out not fade away." The song has a nice balance of heavy and calm parts.

One thing I like about the whole packaging of the CD is the artwork in it. The cover of the CD has a Senses Fail Liveguy with his hand on a mirror and on the other side of the mirror is him screaming and everything on fire. Then inside the packet it has pictures of things burning, statues, and other random things. One of the pictures is the members of Senses Fail all tied up in orange jumpsuits in some forest.

Another one of my favorite songs off the record is "You're Cute When You Scream." It's alot harder than their other songs. It also has alot of screaming in it. It has lyrics like "I'll take you to the top of this building and just push you off/ Run down the stairs so I can see your face as you hit the street." The song is basicly just about getting revenge.

"Rum Is For Drinking, Not For Burning" is another good song off the record. It's one of the heavier songs off the album. It's a song all about being a pirate, which you can especially tell that when "A Pirate's life for me" gets sung.

Let It Enfold You is definitely an album you'd expect from Senses Fail, and if you liked their first one, you'll definitely like this one. And you get a DVD along with it so it's definitely worth buying. You will not be disappointed.
