Punk Goes Acoustic
Various Artists

Fearless Records
Release Date: October 21, 2003
On October 21, 2003, the long awaited, Punk Goes Acoustic, was FINALLY released. This CD caused my friends and I months of agony, since pulled from it's original release date. We were glad to wait and are pleased with the end result...
So, not an acoustic fan? You should be by then end of this. As far as compilations go, this is the who's who of the punk rock emo scene. Headlining act, THE ATARIS, wail through an all but tear invoking version of "Eight of Nine" from their smash-selling CD, So Long Astoria.
Not sold yet? How about an emotional roller coaster courtesy of THURSDAY. "A Hole in the World" again proves that no one in the world can make the noises that project from the frail body of Geoff Rickly.
OK, still not gonna buy it? At least try the TAKING BACK SUNDAY classic "Cute Without the E (Cut From The Team)". From hard-core (GRADE, GLASSEATER) to emo rebellion (MIDTOWN, RUFIO), this CD truly has to be listened to love. In theory, an all acoustic punk CD is goofy, but in execution, it is sheer brilliance... Also, some copies come with a free FEARLESS / VICTORY records sampler. I love samplers!!
