Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has A Body Count
From First To Last with Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has A Body Count

Epitaph Records
Release Date: June 29, 2004

I am sure you’ve heard of the between genre band From First to Last, and if you're one of the few kids who haven’t, From First To Last Promo Shotit’s about time that you have.  With fans emerging from every end, this Los Angeles band is slowly making it to the big scene.

The first song on their first full-length album, Dear Diary My Teen Angst Has A Body Count, is more of an intro.  This 25 second long track, with its quick one sentence, gets you pumped for the rest of the album.  The third track on the album, “Note to Self” is my favorite song, with its lyrics that practically everyone can relate to.  “Note to self, I miss you terribly” is simply a sad song with a happy melodic tune, keeping you tapping your feet along.  “I liked you better when you were naked on the internet,” “Emily” and “Minuet” shows a little bit of From First To Last’s softer side.  The album continues with songs that all have similar yet different tunes. From First To Last Promo Shot

Even though I am a fan of the band, I have to admit, some of their songs do have a similar beat to them.  It’s their breathtaking lyrics that keep me listening.

So, I say if you got the money, you should go pick up their album.  It’s definitely worth listening to, even though they can sound a tad cliché compared to some other popular bands.  If you don’t like it, then shoot me, everyone has a different opinion. It's my opinion that From First to Last has some MAJOR potentional to make it far.  Well, at least further than they are now.
