XROXX Band of the Month OCTOBER 2004 When Showoff broke up, the scene kids of Chicago were left with a big hole in their heart. Many bands started popping up out of nowhere, trying to lick their wounds. Bands like LBC, Split Habit, and Plain White T's crawled out from under the door with a wave of pop. explosion. Two and a half years later, they regrouped, got make-overs, and became MORE NORTH. Starstruck had their name out there, they even played my hometown. But, MORE NORTH really succeeded where Starstruck fell short.

Don't get the idea that these guys are small potatoes, this is just not the case. Sharing the stage with both Sugarcult and Bayside, they can roll with the biggest of dawgs. They even headlined over Hidden in Plain View at one Metro performance.
