This story started somewhere in 2003 when two friends decided to start a new band. One of them was Lars, who played years ago in a band called Menace By Minority. The other one was Konstantin. His band Driftnet had just broken up. It was time to look for other band members. Soon they found Tobias, a young and talented drummer, who had never played in a band before. Some time passed and in Nnovember 2003 they met Mmarkus, who still plays the drums for Njatr. Markus had a rehearsal room so they could start to spend some time writing songs while they were looking for a singer. Soon they found out that itīs not that easy to find a proper singer for the band. They tried several different singers and they all werenīt the right ones. I guess it was February when Patrick gave them a call and came to the rehearsal. They liked him and his voice right from the start. Itīs not easy (in a small town called Bielefeld) to find a singer, who is able to sing and also able to scream, but Patrick was the one who could do it all. HELL YEAH!
The next problem was to find a name for the band. This was a real brainteaser. One day Markus came up with "My Adorable." After some time the rest of the band began to like that name more and more and finally My Adorable was born.
Now you might ask what My Adorable sounds like. Well let me think. Oh, well I guess you can call it emocore. Take the emotions of Funeral for a Friend, the power of Thrice, the innovation of Taking Back Sunday and refine it with the dramatic provocation of A Static Lullaby and Refused...
Near future plans are: playing shows, recording some songs, playing shows, maybe a CD and playing more shows? Yes, playing shows! So be prepared because this five piece is about friendship and the true love to emotional music. sincerely........................................................................................................ [my] adorable
