With hardcore dedication and the love for all types of music, Illusive sprung on the scene a little more that year ago. With the release of When Thoughts Have A Certain Sound EP, which was recorded in their basement and produced by themselves (get it for free on IllusiveWeb.net), people started taking notice to the excellent musicianship and endless heart, with catchy melodies both from singing and the guitar.
From the little town of Lake Havasu City, AZ, they knew they had to work extra hard to get people to notice them compared to all the "big city" bands that seem to get all the attention. They've had to drive at least 200 miles to every show to see their favorite bands. Once an instrumental speed punk band, because of the lack of singers in their city, they loved to play and harness the energy that they all feed off of. They finally found a singer, slowed it down a bit, made it a bit harder, paid a little more attention to details, and captivated everyone in their small town.
Meeting and keeping touch with the recording world's notorious RTB (Roy Thomas Baker, known for Queen, Journey, Guns and Roses, and Ozzy Osborne) their determination never seems to die. Playing shows in Nevada, and California, and willing to go anywere the road takes them. They have taken what has been given to them, even playing shows at the world famous Roxy. Ready to put out another group of songs, all these guys need is a little exposure and the rest will fall in place.
