Singed is an aggressive indie band from Dayton, Ohio. The four-piece phenom are comprised of singer/lead guitarist Jake, guitarist Chris, drummer Aaron, and singer/bass player, Ryan. The band began a few years ago with a different line up. After experimenting with different guys, Jake and his crew solidified the current band. After all the drama, the only thing this rad tad group of guys has to say is that they are in this thing for the long run.
"These dudes are my best friends, and we're stickin’ with this until we get old and our hips break..." says Jake.
"This is good shit and a lot of fun and Jake is really sexy," quotes the ever witty Aaron.
Singed was created in the small wake left behind by fellow Ohio brothers, Dead Poetic and Hawthorne Heights. Acts such as The Used and the newly famous My Chemical Romance are the main inspiration for this innovative act. Singed has been rocking the local scene for the last year and are ready to break and amaze the world.
Recently, the group went into the studio (and without sleep) to lay some tracks down for the coming EP, The Year After. "I Said" and "This Canker Sore is Killing Me," are both revolutionary and independent. It just proves that a band can have a varied style and still be awesome. Singed has the potential to be great and you heard it here first.
