Pink Thursday is a suprising, multi-dimensional band from Kansas City, Missouri, with unforgettable musical elements and powerful vocals driven by emotional lyrics. Vincent Lawhon (bass, vocals), Kyle Kampman (guitar), and Micah Boise (drums) formed in 2002, while Steven Mack (guitar, vocals) joined the band mid-2003. With time ahead of them, Pink Thursday has already developed a large, loyal fan base. In November of 2002, they played to a sold out American Legion (300+ people) for a Veterans of Foriegn War Benefit organized by friends and local bands, and has gained many supporters since.
Pulling from a mixture of influences, Pink Thursday's musical direction is often changing. Several artists to influence the group have been Alkaline Trio, Blink 182, Taking Back Sunday, and other local bands.
