Hailing from the land of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Commonwealth, from Jacksonville, FL, was founded by members Curtis, Mike, and Tim in February 2002. Curtis and Mike had met a few years prior and began writing music. After meeting Tim and getting some songs in order they decided to start playing shows. Since then they have played with such bands as Rufio, Mustard Plug, Allister, Over It, Hey Mike, Autopilot Off, The Matches, and Against All Authority. They have also recorded two self released EP's, both wich can be heard on their http://purevolume.com/CommonwealthFL page.
