Afton (formerly *Milo) was formed in 1999 by Chance and Tim, who enjoyed playing guitars together and liked the same bands. They soon decided to find a bassist and a drummer to complete the band. A few years and several band members later, Josh was invited to join in late 2002 to play bass. Matt tried out and was immediately invited to join in summer of 2003.
Almost one year and two EP's later, Afton continues to gain attention not only in the local Derby music scene, but across eastern Kansas, with small fan bases in other states across the US.
