Jeremy and Dennis started the band a long time ago with a drummer named Ben. Beer City Records and SK8's released two, 7-inch records and a full length CD of Active Ingrediants. The band released a full length on Firmament Records in 1999 and an EP CD later that year on Shithead Youth Records. Ben quit the band to go work for RCMC building Van's skate parks around the world and who could blame him? Active went through two drummers within a year after Ben left, and then they met Javier, the man behind the drums for over three years now. Active Ingrediants released an EP CD on their own with Javier on drums and shortly after got signed to HHC Records. The HHC Records full length CD release came out mid 2003. A.I. went out on a three month tour to back up the new CD. Active has been on 13 compilation CD's over the past years and is currently working on a new songs for a new full length CD.
