3 Times Round formed from the ashes of Foamaclit who split up after Andy (drums) and Dan (bass) left for other commitments. Sean and Rob were now left with no drummer so through Rob, Sean phoned Iain Langlands. After a few phone calls the band was up and running again. The band began by playing Foamaclit songs but improving them with more agressive drumming and other things. After around three weeks 3TR had there first gig at Dundee Music Workshop which went very well as did the gig two days later at the Beat Bar in Dundee. The band then had to stop gigging for a month as Iain had his exams. After that 3 Times Round were back gigging and writing songs. They then decided to release an album called Who Wants to Start a Revolution which will be out around November 2004.
Our music has been described as old skool punk with a rock and roll edge. We try to blend in hardcore punk but don't stick to one theme and have a diverse style of writing lyrics and songs. We have played many more shows since, with more up and coming.
